i think there's a part of getting dumped which i kinda sadistically (masochistically?) enjoy. it's kind of like when i have a cold...i don't like getting sick, but i *DO* like an excuse to lay in bed with the covers up all day, drinking 7-Up and watching videos and generally feeling sorry for myself. i do the same thing when i'm dumped, only i put vodka in the 7-Up.

i'm usually the dumper, though i much prefer being the dumpee.

when you're the dumpee, you get to tell everyone about it and then all your friends are nice to you and tell you what an asshole your ex was and how it's his loss and how you were too good for him anyway.

when you're the dumper, you get to be the asshole.

it's worth it, though - i'd rather have a few months of bad juju than a lifetime of pretending to be happy in a relationship that isn't working.

I believe that most relationships should draw to an end, and that there should be no dumping, if the couple are to remain happy.
I have never dumped or been dumped. My 3 relationships grew tired of themselves and fizzled out. Everyone of them is still a friend.

I've never been dumped. Always been the dumper. It SUCKS. Even when it was obvious to both of us that it was broken, there is some sort of nasty ick that comes with being the person to finally call it quits.

I'm at a Kinko's right now & the men's lavatory is currently occupied.
