Am I the only one that gets some sort of power trip off of doing it? Sort of like a self-gratifying, "Oh yeah, My shit don't stink" sense of invincibility? confuse

i like it when people like you dump me, because it's easier to talk my friends into prank calls and acts of vandalism. nod

Oh lawd, I would never dump you. You'd have to dump me. You'd be my little snuggleBunny, and I'd dress you up all the time in fancy clothes, and show you off to the whole god damned world! Tampabay would be your big red carpet of a runway honey!

I've never been dumped. Always been the dumper. It SUCKS. Even when it was obvious to both of us that it was broken, there is some sort of nasty ick that comes with being the person to finally call it quits.

i think there's a part of getting dumped which i kinda sadistically (masochistically?) enjoy. it's kind of like when i have a cold...i don't like getting sick, but i *DO* like an excuse to lay in bed with the covers up all day, drinking 7-Up and watching videos and generally feeling sorry for myself. i do the same thing when i'm dumped, only i put vodka in the 7-Up. nod

If I am ending it with someone I definitely feel awful.

But if they come back after dumping me and going thru a bunch of other chicks, I love being their friend but never letting them back into my life that way again. It's like being able to constantly dump them again and again.

With my exes, it was more of a 'mutual' dumping. They wanted something more permanent, I didn't, so we agreed to part as friends. Single4life doesn't go over with a lot of women I guess.

I believe that most relationships should draw to an end, and that there should be no dumping, if the couple are to remain happy.
I have never dumped or been dumped. My 3 relationships grew tired of themselves and fizzled out. Everyone of them is still a friend.

BAD JUJU?

Haven't heard that in a while. biggrin

Anx said:

i'm usually the dumper, though i much prefer being the dumpee.

when you're the dumpee, you get to tell everyone about it and then all your friends are nice to you and tell you what an asshole your ex was and how it's his loss and how you were too good for him anyway.

when you're the dumper, you get to be the asshole. confused

it's worth it, though - i'd rather have a few months of bad juju than a lifetime of pretending to be happy in a relationship that isn't working.

Who lives like that?

Your life sounds like a fairy tale. lol

I've only ever had one relationship end that was utterly mutual, and that was someone I was only casually dating for a short time anyway.

NOT TRUE! He'd dress you up like Paris dressed up Butters on South Park...in a little bear suit. You'd be his next Mr Biggles!

believe it or not, there's no double meaning - if he were near me and if i had cheese, i'd totally share some. cheese is great for snacking, and if someone shared their cheese with me, i would feel totally tolerated.

I think it works out better when couples just agree mutually to dump each other.

Yeah, sometimes your genius pains me. Just a little. Like, I find myself wondering why you aren't doing SNL or something, and then I realize they don't deserve you. . .
