BURRRRR!!!!!

It feels like -4 F here (-20 C) right now. And I don't want it to get any worse!!

I remember back in the early 80s that my hometown was in the national (U.S.) news for something like a -75 F windchill and highs in the -20s that day.

Damn global warming. confused

They calculate windchill differently now, though, so they don't show quite so low.

Where I am currently it's 0 F with a -18 F windchill. (That's -18 C with a -28 C windchill.) And the sun's a shining.

confused

I hate winter.

Dumb question coming your way.....

Is there a point where the cold just feels the same. I mean lower than zero...I can't even imagine.

lol

No. Think of how different 60 degrees feels than 30 degrees. There's that much difference between 30 and 0. There are times it gets dangerously cold here, so cold your eyeballs could freeze within a couple of minutes of exposure.

Luckily, it doesn't get that cold often. lol Every 10-15 years or so we get a day like that, but that's about it.

Up until the beginning of January we'd had an incredibly mild winter. It's usually getting through now and February that is the worst of it.
