There's lots of better ways to give cats a bath. If you bathe them from when they're kittens, they don't fight you.

I never did but Megs blow dries cats all the time. We have 2 cats and my Mom has 4 and Megs grooms all of them theres only a couple that she needs help with.

sometimes my cat lets me use the dustbuster on him to get rid of loose fur. depends on his mood. if he has that glib garfield "like i give a damn" look on his face, i know it's safe to vacuum the cat.

Megs' cat Gazzy Bear lets her do anything to her. My Claudia tolerates water but would never ever let us vacuum her.
My Mom's cats are demon spawn from hell mad .

My mom said she used to vacuum the cat, too.

My girlfriend got badly bitten when she tried to blow dry our cat, though.. Just like that cat in the washing machine would have done if it could have reached its owners.

I use the more old skool method:

kittens
bag
rock
rope
lake.

works fine for me.

But does that thing actually clean the cat? What's the point of terrorizing it like that unless it actually works?

I find that I had to shampoo my cat pretty good to clean him. I only had to do it every once in a blue moon cause cats keep themselves clean, but contrary to popular beliefs, your cat can get dirty.

I had to do it the old fashion way: http://www.youtube.com/wa...Zxi1uvGW7U

While I was watching that our dog was trying to find where the cat was. When she figured out it was on the computer she made a face like " i knew it wasn't real" and walked away but she kept looking to see if the cat was alright. lol
