What do you like or dislike about your job?

My job is great, my boss is an a*****e.

Love it!

I'm liking my job. I have my own desk, two computers, shelves for my Bill the Cat and my Star Trek and Star Wars toys, a good boss, good people to work with, and enough free time where I spend it on the Org.

I rock at what I do....it's the "for whom" I don't care for.....

I went to work yesterday! 1-5pm

I even dressed up a bit to make an occasion of it

i swear my job is just like "The Office" and "Office Space". My job isn't so bad it's just boring as hell, and there is such a lack of motivation there that they do absolutely nothing about.

We have one chick whose cube is by the fax machine, and just because the fax machine is beside her cube in the walkway, she monitors that thing like a hawk, like she bought it and paid for it herself. It's like Milton and his stapler in "office space".

One time i nearly fell asleep at my desk in front of my computer i was so bored. and another I just stayed on the internet, but then they had this wack ass meeting about monitoring the time you spend on the internet because we aren't suppose to be on there anyway...well unless you take that shit off, i'm going to be on the internet.

another time i just balled up a piece of printer paper and just threw it over the wall in somebody else's cube and then ran. i know it's childish, but it sure was fun!

It's pretty good. Everyone's nice enough. Good money. I don't like the commute though.

I was thinking about doing the same thing of finding me a part-time work outside the home and still doing my writing. I love working at home but it does take a lot of dedication and you can get distracted very easily.

My job is to bake pies and make city chicken.

I am a nurse that works at a state hospital with the handicap and I love my job because they are happy to see me when I walk in and they make me smile. What I hate about it is getting pulled to the mental health part when they are short, the pay, and the paperwork that comes with working for the state

That's sooooo true. In fact, it's encouraged. I was a manager at one of my previous jobs for 6 months, and I was demoted back down because I wasn't, and I directly quote from the head manager, "enough of an asshole." I thought to myself that if that's the case, I didn't want to be a manager under him. I was friends with too many of the employees to fuck them over just to please management, plus being a fucking asshole isn't going to win you any respect.
