Creative: Yes

Classy: Not so sure lol

I have a firend who works at a grade school and they had problems with one of the teachers eating food that had not been offered to her. So my friend made some brownies with Ex-Lax, told all of the other teachers not to eat them...and lo and behold the prepetrator teacher ended up with diahrrea....for days....!

Yes we have a work fridge. Actually we have two in two kitchen areas.

I got to work this morning and opened up the freezer door, to place in some frozen hot pockets for my lunch.

I open it, only to find a chilled can of Diet Coke ripped open / exploded all over the freezer. Whoever put their warm can of soda in the door and left it there, is sure in for an awakening when they suddenly realize they forgot the can in the freezer.

Cool effect. Really cool effect.

There's a guy in our office that wears this ice pack around his back - actually he just shoves it down the back of his pants. He sticks it in our freezer to freeze up, and it grosses me out. I don't want someone's frozen butt plug sitting next to my lunch like that.

Usually its the other way around at our office, people don't take stuff, they leave stuff in there, for ages. After several weeks it starts to look more like a science project. But noone feels right throwing it out either cuz theyre worried they might piss someone off.

There's a couple of work fridges here, but I don't use them. I bring my small cooler every day, and it keeps my stuff cold enough until I enjoy the contents of it.

5 years or so back when I was at IBM, we had one guy that would consistently steal other people's food. He also walked into an engineer's office and made photocopies of some blueprints the guy had sitting on his desk. The guy was a damn THIEF!

we have the moldy gross problem too...every couple of months or so our secratary lady sends out an e-mail to all saying the cleaning company will be cleaning out the fridge soon and will through out everything in there so check for your stuff.....so it doesn't get too bad but still.

Yes, this used to happen all the time at a previous place of employment. I think it's disgusting....I would never do it, I'd be worried about how clean their kitchen was or if they washed their hands before making their food, etc. (Although w/take out it's a bit different.)

I get so grossed out by work fridges and the lunch rooms that I avoid them. I just skip lunch. (We're not allowed to eat in our office b/c I work at a museum and crumbs near the collection leads to insects which leads to ruined objects...)

I would definitely put a note on the fridge...you are not being a jerk, they STOLE your lunch.

Someone that I knew told me a funny story;

Her dad was having his food stolen from the company refrigerator...especially the drinks.
So one day he buys a bottle of strawberry milk, empties half the bottle and replenishes it with Pepto-bismol.
Puts it in the fridge.
...and that was the LAST time that he had food stolen

falloff People got nerve!

Back when I wanted to do nice things for my fucking boss, I baked the bitch a cheesecake for her birthday. I put it in the refrigerator in the lunchroom. Some crackhead employee SLICED into it - a whole cheesecake - told people how good it was and by the time I found out it was about 1/3 gone.

I can not skip lunch...I'm too freakin' hungry at lunch time. Most of the time I just get a sandwich from the store across the street and eat it at my desk but...just felt like pizza the other day...I shoulda brought the rest home. sad
I should leave a note....I probably won't though. shrug

About eight years ago I had a similar experience at work. I brought a Lean Cuisine frozen dinner in the freezer in the morning and at lunch time it was gone. Some theif took it and I was really, really pi$$ed off because I didn't have enough money with me that day to buy lunch. I was going to put something in the refrigerator and put a laxative in it but was talked out of doing that and to just let it go. After I told several other employees what happened they told me that this has happened quite a few other times. So after that I started bringing my lunch in an insulated lunch bag.

Would you believe that this sort of stuff happens in the hospital lunch rooms as well! I was talking one day with a nurse and she told me that their lunches were being eaten and they found out it was a DOCTOR taking their food! I was stunned by that and couldn't believe that a doctor would stoop that low! Come on now, they make plenty of friggin' money! disbelief

Meet more doctors lol Then you'd understand that it's typical self-serving doctor behavior.

Yeah, the hospital staff is there to serve them. If that means taking lunches away from their staff, so be it. nod
