Of course, I'm not orgnoting anyone about anything. That's how tired of it I am. lol All sides. The topic's been done to death and will be done to death till the day I die. If not here, then somewhere else.
So I just can't care anymore.

What exactly is needing to be "argued" here or in notes anyway? The only thing I saw even slightly offensive was the "rhino" comment. That's not even about weight, that's just about being mean to someone in general.

And of course, Surething calling me names...but I am used to that.

Maybe argued isn't the best in this instance.

Talked about, even? lol

.....maybe THIS is why I don't get along with girls. eek

But seriously, yeah, that did come out mean, I guess.

I find it mean and hurtful, when people talk about how gross, skinny girls are.

Just defense I guess.

But hey, I can admit when when I'm wrong. wink

Then you see that none of it is ok...we've got to stop judging people exclusively on their looks. At any rate, you've gotta admit...the bigger girls get the brunt of it.

I personally don't judge on looks alone.

Bigger girls getting the brunt of what?

Ridicule?

I'm not sure I agree on that.

And if it is true, it's not me.

I DO know this though, if I was getting made fun of for something, and it was actually BOTHERING me, I'd do something about it.

From your previous comments on feeling hurt by jokes made at skinny girls expenses...does this mean you'll be on a crash weight gain diet? smile

And yes, I was talking about ridicule. I know people also make jokes at skinny girls expenses, but I do think society does tend to focus on making the fat girl the brunt of the joke most of the time. It's just more common.

No, it doesn't. Being made fun of for that bohters me, but not because I'm thin. It's because I work pretty fuckin hard to be thin, and to get ridiculed for it is bullshit. I'd rather enjoy eating fucking Fettucine Alfredo for lunch like everyone else, but I WORK on myself, because I LIKE being thin. So for someone to make fun of that, yes, it bothers me.

And yes, I was talking about ridicule. I know people also make jokes at skinny girls expenses, but I do think society does tend to focus on making the fat girl the brunt of the joke most of the time. It's just more common.

Like, I said, I'm not sure if I agree with you on this. Everyone gets made fun of. And the ones that don't get made fun of are hated by the ones woh ARE getting made fun of, and it's a vicious cycle.

Like, I said, if something bugged me, I'd change it.

Like I said...you like being thin and if someone makes fun of it it bothers you...well, I like being curvy, 5'9", having an hourglass figure and a 40DDD rack and I work out and count calories to keep it...some people consider that "fat"...and when people make fun of it, it bothers me.
But, I ain't changing anything, because I like me...and I've worked hard to get there smile but, that doesn't change the fact that it still bothers me when people are made fun of or judged exclusively for how they look.

I am skinny myself and people make comments about my weight quite often, but these comments are not mean. They just doubt that I eat enough and am not on a constant diet. I don't know if they really believe that I eat a lot and I am just lucky to not gain weight easily. It's going on my nerves someone as I like the way I look and I don't want others to tell me what I should look like. But know one ever has made any comment about my weight (or lack of lol) that was hurtful. When I was a kid I was a bit overweight for some time and I remember quite well how it felt when people were making stupid remarks about my weight. So of course it's the "fat" people that are ridiculed a lot more nod.

Everyone and I mean everyone gets made fun of. Whether it be looks, personality, intelligence or lack there of, race, socioeconomic background, whatever.

The problem as I see it is that there are many people who think that it's not ok to make fun of one thing and yet it's ok to ridicule someone about something else they either don't agree with or don't like.

I don't think I would win that as I eat very slowly. But I can eat all day long if I want to, so maybe that gives me a little bit of a winning chance razz . I hope you are talking about Sachertorte mit Schlag (Sahne) drool.

There is such a small percentage of people who fit into the "perfect" cateory...we can just all do the best with what we have...and I don't think anyone should be ridiculed for that.
My last boyfriend's father hated me because I wasn't "athletic" enough...so he didn't think I was good enough for his son. Do you have any idea how that hurt?
