I remember posting, but cannot remember what exactly was the first thing. That was so long ago.

I made long, heart felt, well written posts about my feelings regarding some Prince thing or another in the P M&M forum.

Of course they were completely ignored.

Then I ventured into chat where I was also completely ignored. So I started pm'ing people to say hello n stuff.

I then ventured out into open chat and I've been there ever since

Was a Prince fan in my mid 20's during the Purple Reign era. Dropped off.
Was listening to an obscure radio station that played Prince doing a cover of another artist.....What if god were one of us?.... I couldn't believe it. Started researching the web. Ended up here. Didn't own a single CD just a few early albumes. Have all his music now on CD. Plus movies.

Back in '99, I wasn't must of a poster, more of a laugher. I did, however, post an April fools news story about Prince and Mayte getting back together. It was the highlight of my life, at the time

I started my old account in '02 and was still in college so I actually forgot I created it for about 8 months. I started being a regular in the Music: Non-Prince forums sometime in 2003. I remember the conversations were deeper back then and folk were REALLY intellectual and articulate in that board back then.

i would come here and read threads in P&R, didn't have an account though. then one day i wanted to steam into a thread there too, so i made an account. i was PISSED when i realized i had to wait three days!! by the time i could post the thread had been locked and deleted. i stayed pretty much in P&R, then got tired of the bullshit over there. (same damn threads, same damn debates, over and over and over again) so i ventured into GD. i have no idea what my first post was over here, i was pretty shy at first. but it didn't take long for sinister, subhuman, and me to own this joint.


we lost it after the first week.


god, i remember trying to make successful threads. i couldn't figure out how people made successful threads with 100s of posts!

i still haven't.
