i guess i should introduce myself... hi orgers. my name is frankie. ive been lurking for a long while, but finally decided to post.
i'm a 28 year old artist/illustrator living in new york city (but moving back to oregon). i play guitar and sing in a band (indie) with my boyfriend (we have a musical side project as well: lullabys/childrens songs). ive been a prince fan my entire life. i love all kinds of music (stonerrock. gothic americana. soul. deathrock. blues. bebop. shoegaze. zydeco. exp jazz. lounge. glam. mariachi. funk. neo-psychedelic sludge...) but my 3 favorite musical artists are the cure, tom waits, and prince. and...i guess thats it. i'm pretty friendly, so if you have any questions, just ask. okay. | |

Ben hi and thanks! portland is a TERRIFIC town if you want to do things your own way...making art, witing music, etc. any creative pursuit. ive been a ny-ker for 10 years but spent 2 years in portland going to art school and being mellow. heh. it's such a cool town and i fell completely in love with it. so i'm moving back! and nobody there harshes your buzz
