Long story, but basically, my job was being transitioned from that of an administrative assistant (which I have done over 20 years) to that of an administrative assistant/collector. My boss and I both came to the mutual agreement that I would not excel at being a collector (honestly, it's not a job that I would want to do). Also, there were parts of my job that were being eliminated due to different factors, and my boss unsuccessfully tried to find other administrative assistant work in another department. I was pretty much told that there was no job for me there. So I left that job, but will get 12 weeks pay and will be eligible to sign up for unemployment compensation.

Honestly, I would love to start my own business and to not have to rely on someone else for a paycheck, but that probably will never happen.
