and gotdamn I need a drink!!! And now I get to shorten the length, so I'll be having a drink- hell, it's happy hour somewhere!

We decided to take down our curtains and replace them with blinds- we got 1" aluminum blinds in aluminum finish- they are like matte mirrors when closed and we love them!!

I'm on vacation until Monday and it's all about fixin up the house, here's my short list:

Blinds- up, just have to shorten

Paint kitchen walls and cabinets in Chocolate brown matte oil (Drew's not crazy about brown walls, but I'll have my way) and repaint ceiling in high-gloss super white.

Finish tiling the kitchen floor- we have a granite kitchen floor, I just need to cut the pieces that fit against the base cabinets (been putting it off for YEARS...)

Install new over head light fixture in Kitchen. I picked up a 6-light halogen track light at Lowes picture here , but need my brother to install it and the dimmer switch.

And- don't know if we can do this this week, but soon- replace vent hood


Back to work, feel so butch...
