me with pete and sarah of saint etienne at a record signing - i've been a fan of them since their first album and i still keep up with their music. how do they inspire me? i think i've always been impressed by them because they manage to be experimental, melodic, and upbeat all at the same time. it's pleasant music, but there's a lot going on under the bubblegum. i love that they found that balance and made it their formula. plus, sarah cracknell is just adorable.  | |
