When i heard they were turning this book into a film i got really skeptical 'cause i doubted they'd capture the essence of it, or even get close to it for it's complex psychological mood that makes you hate and yet relate to it's main character of Jean Baptiste Grenoille.

Well, i've gotten the chance to see the film the other day and i gotta say


Damn it's sooooo good. Everything that needed to be there was there, literally.

I'd say, whether you read the book or not, this film is a MUST see.

Flawless casting, beautiful scenary, creepy atmosphere, disgusting cruelty, it's ALL in there


P.S. Ben Whishaw did the role of his life in that film. Excellent actor indeed.

P.S.S. It's the 1st time i've seen Dustin Huffman actually act.

My brother was raving about this. I really want to see it.
