How often do you ask people to tell you what they really think of you? And what purpose does it serve? Does it affect your future behavior? Do you take criticism well and seriously?

To answer your question, not very often at all... and I'll only ever ask if I feel there's something wrong, like I'll ask if everything's alright and if I've done something or said something wrong

in all seriousness, I thought about starting one like Dex's... quite honestly I have no idea what people think of me - I tend to think the worst but, I think my self-perception is very very different than others perception, so I'm curious...

I was thinking about this today even before Dex started his thread, actually, cause of a question on one of the other threads about what would your friends say about you. And I replied I didn't know. I would assume it would mostly be positive (or we wouldn't be friends) but I don't talk to my friends regularly about how we feel about each other. Things just are.
