I read this as 'insomniacs suck monkey balls'. I was thinking Chinese medicine, alternative treatments, if it works then fair dues.

This has been your best holiday ever, I can tell. Last year's was almost as good. In fact, side by side, the two holidays would be virtually indistinguishable. I said "never again!" I think I said exactly the same thing then too

That's horrible!
Snoring!! How did evolution not weed that out? I can hear it through walls, floors, ceilings, earplugs, it resonates in my pillow. I really hate that it's the non-snorers who have to do something about it--sleeping pills, earplugs, noise machines etc. I'm a light sleeper, though, I can take a small part of the blame I suppose My Legacy

At home I sleep in my own bed in my own room on my own only 9 more hours and I will be reunited with my bed! Hurrah

If I have to choose between going into work like a zombie because I never slept the night before, or going into work with a hangover, I'll opt for the hangover hands down. No sleep sucks ass. Make yourself several martinis and get plastered. You'll sleep like a baby.

Get absolutely hammered. Like, totally smashed.
You'll pass out like a baby. Of course, you'll also piss your pants while you're asleep but the thing to remember is you'll be getting a good night's sleep!

Earplugs might require a very long while getting used to. For most people they hurt like hell in the beginning, often because people aren't accustomed to inserting them the right way. You can only get used to it, but they work in the ed. They just aren't a very good temporary solution, in my opinion. Women should wear size "S" anyway, do not even try other sizes.
Hell, I'm sitting here right now with those things in my ears. After spending a-year-and-a-half in my previous apartment from hell, there's nothing I'd value more than silence.

I am on the lookout for a good set of earplugs, I used to be able to get these soft yellow ones, rubber, with 3 flanges, SOOOO good and comfortable.

Sometimes it hurts to roll onto or off of my side because the plug on the pillow changes the pressure in my ear too fast. Sometimes I wear one--lie on my right side with an earplug in the left ear. Last night my neighbor was politely asking about a mystery noise coming from my place, then she proceeded to watch a very loud movie until 11:30 My Legacy

I sometimes use those Bose noise cancelling headphones when I'm awake--reading for example. They definitely let sound through, but they cut the rumble a lot. It makes noise less intrusive & more bearable. And if you're listening to music through them, almost nothing else cuts through. My Legacy
