It's just left me feeling kinda freaked....wondering what could have happen if one of my kids had gotten up and bumped into him....
He only stole a couple of cell phones and went through all the draws and filing cabinets in the study ....would u believe we rung one of the phones and he ANSWERED ...he was laughing and saying yeah I'm the guy that was in your house last night

Do the police have the numbers of the cell phones he stole? I'm just thinking there must be a way to track the location of those cell phones... I'm wondering if the cell phone company can tell where the cell phones are...

Seriously, why not get a little dog. The kids would love it and they always bark when people approach the house. Years ago I was burgled and now we have a dog I do sleep better.

I am glad you and your family are safe.

Do you know how the burglar gained entrance into your home? Could you invest in an alarm system, or install motion detector lights around the outside of your home? Those can be very helpful to deter prowlers.

i can't believe the cops don't care about tracking this guy down!! maybe you could set up some kind of sting operation. have a friend call the phone pretending to be someone who wants to hook up and arrange to meet him somewhere, then beat his ass.

the important thing is that you're all safe. and hopefully things will get easier. i don't know what i'd do if someone broke in here. i'd probably have to stay at my parents house for weeks before i felt comfortable staying here.
