He has not called Yes my crush or soon to be ex-crush has not called me even though he has my number, but I do not have his. Yet, some days, weeks, and now a month went by and nothing. Oh well, every other day I kept wondering why he has not called to atleast say hello. Then I was watching something on TV about how guys just don't call because they don't like the other person. My reaction at that moment while watching on TV was like then something like then I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

If he's not contacted you by now, then he had no interest. And you don't have his phone number? Ohh purple joy oh purple bliss oh purple rapture! REAL MUSIC by REAL MUSICIANS - Prince "I kind of wish there was a reason for Prince to make the site crash more" ~~ Ben |

U shoulda got his number LOL. Hell, I learnt like that. I gave a girl my number, she didn't seem to want to give me hers, and surprise surprise, no call. Pretty obvious really. Heres a chorus from Rick Price, called "not a day goes by", that'll help you in this situation:- "Not a day goes by When darling I don't think of you Not a day goes by When I don't wonder why I don't hear from you So is this goodbye" [Edited 1/17/07 22:52pm]

Unfortunately, yeah, that's the case. And I would add, his loss. What an ass. You deserve someone who's gonna call and not make you wait around wondering what the hell is going on. |

I'm sorry. Forget about him and move on. If he didn't call in a MONTH he def isn't into ya. Go find a new guy. This one is an fucking loser and an asshole anyways. (Go get your hair or nails done, or get a new cute skirt)

has he ever spoken the word "sacktime"?
do you know how he feels about making the first move? do you know if he abhors oral sex? does his name rhyme with "gnats"?

I know how you feel. I'm in a stupid situation with a crush myself.
If he was really wanting to be with you and really liked you he'd be contacting you a lot more. Trust me...if a guy really likes a girl they definitely make time for her (well, in the beginning anyway). Try to move on.

Oh but come on people just cause they didnt call doesnt mean they are a bad person. We are all looking for THE connection. Best they call it in the front over hanging around and wasting your time to move on later! We all have taken or given a number from someone we had a real great time with that in retospect we decide just wasnt fair to follow up on because we dont see it going anywhere long term or realize they really dug us and it wouldnt be cool.
Or just someone we are already dating stepped up. Or we decide we need to take time out to work on us Or a job came through somewhere else Or a family member called with bad news Or finances locked up Or hes just not that into you in retrospect but you enchanted him in the moment. ( We should not take that as a personal dig... How many people have you been out with that you just arent into.... great or not) Or a whole host of other things that are not sinister in the least just are. Id far rather it chocked at the gate then taking a pile of my time up. The equations are endless and more likely not personal.

I don't think the guy is being a jerk because he's (most likely) just not that into her. It bugs me how people get mad at someone for not liking someone else. That they are suddenly jerks for not doing what others think they should do. All you can really do is decide how you are gonna react to the cards you've been dealt. There is not point in wasting time trying to figure out what's going on with the other person. Gah, I need to take my own advice.

Clearly not, I just hate to see people get down on themselves or others. I think we take the whole damn dating game a bit to personal and sometimes it helps to have a balanced perspective and not always defualt to the worse case scenario.

I agree he's done nothing wrong, per se, but yeah, it still hurts a bit. And best she recognize now that after a month nothing's gonna happen and move on. I think that's all anyone's saying. |

not quite the same thing, but my Brother recently went on a date with a very close friend of mine... they hit it off really well but after a week away and having seen each other twice he called it off because it just wouldn't work out mainly because he's an Australian living in England and she's a Brit. so... in time it would have to end anyway, and I give him props for being a man and being honest about it now rather than mess her around like so many others would. what's not meant to be, is not meant to be

Awwwww
It'll be ok. Maybe its for the best. One time I gave my number to a guy and he didnt call. I called him twice no response. I later found out he was in jail His cute rating went waaaaay down. He finally called but I wanted nothing to do with him "Nobody makes me bleed my own blood...NOBODY!"

Sorry I lost your number, but I had to get rid of it before my wife saw it. Oh...didn't I tell you that I was married? If he has not called, and doesn't have a valid reason for not doing so, try to move on.

... I hate that he hasn't called like you had hope that he would. And yes, it could be for any number of reasons..but if the main reason was that he didn't forsee a future in anything, as bad as this sounds, believe me, it's much better on a persons heart to make a cut now rather than later., besides, it'll leave you open for someone even better !! And believe me in time there will be someone better.. Because of God..we 2 r 1~~Darren & Suzyn forever

At least by not calling, he's not leading you on...nor is he doing anything to pique your interest further. Nor is he just calling to be nice. Pity calls suck and they just make the person who likes you, like you more. It's better this way.
Flip it around. Let's say that the guy who serves you coffee every once in a while at the cafe likes you. You don't take notice nor are that attracted to him. Yet he thinks about you everyday and can't wait to see you. You have no idea he thinks this. Maybe you have casual conversations with him. Then one day he gives you his phone number and wants you to call him. You really don't want to...you kind of like things they way they are. What do you do? Call? Go back and get coffee? Or do you avoid the whole thing so it doesn't escalate? Christian Zombie Vampires

All of those kind comments brought some confidence and a smile to my face. Well, to update, I thought that the guy would call because we had been doing the "you look at me when I am not looking, but if I look at you then you quickly look away" thing. So after of month of just glancing at each other I thought, "Come on! Just tell me what's on your mind!" I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

No. Well, there's your problem. Nothing turns a guy on more than seeing some chick hiding behind a bush. Very Freudian & very sexy.
