Yep we gotthat same ice yesterday and today, now it's just really cold. I just got back in from walking the dogs, even they didn't want to be out long.

It's really cold here too.

Hubby had fire goin' when I woke up, and he told me to keep it BLAZIN all day.

Great. He works 12 hrs today. And I have to haul around fire wood all day.

This is sooooo not the glamorous life I imagined.

*UPDATE*

Well, Austin has been shut down again!!!!! biggrin Actually all of South Central Texas has been shut-down.

We got a little bit more snow--some ice--the temp hasn't risen above freezing!!!

It's fun though, I'm getting a little nervous that it might not be any better tomorrow, and we both need to be getting back to work.

The really bad news is that I think I'm coming-down with a cold with all my frolicking in the snow yesterday. lol I'm feeling a little congested this AM.

We made national news about our weather situation! And I told the New Yorkers it would getting a little cold your way. I think it's supposed to snow there, too.

This is a little random, but I love that song "Baby It's Cold Outside," for days like this. Yesterday, I played Steven Tyrell's cd for a little while. Weather like this is fun for us, but I don't think I could handle it being like this all of the time. Then again, a lot of people hate Texas summers, so I guess it's a trade-off.

..all I can say is WOW, and that I can't blame you @ all for being excited, I would be too...so when you get tired of all the snow and such..just send it my way ( into SE Tenn), cause we're like y'all and rarely get anything...and it stinks..I haven't made a snow man in years !!

somwhow Toledo, Ohio, and most of the state of Ohio -- as well as the state of Arkansas -- received rain. Tons of it. Over an inch, plus. But up in Detroit -- nasty ice storm.

But now Toledo was in the teens for lows this morning and a light dusting of snow. Highs in the 30s for remainder of the week.

We might get some snow early next week. Might. It won't accumulate though. The ground is too warm.

It's the middle of January too. At least the city is saving some money on not using snow plows or all that much salt on the roads.
