7 bucks That's def inexpensive, but don't rule it out. I've found lots of inexpensive wines to be really good. I buy inexpensive Chardonnays sometimes and find them to be just as good or better than some of the expensive ones.

Nothings more inexpensive then Two Buck Chuck from Trader Joes Unless you consider Arbor mist wine! Carpenters bend wood, fletchers bend arrows, wise men fashion themselves.

I haven't seen it at the wine stores I frequent. I know there's a trend with California wineries to put out fun funky labels with odd pictures and titles. The wine is reasonably priced "red table wine". I'm not seeing it so much with whites, at least not chards. The owner of one wine store recommends them and says they're good quality for the price. I think it appeals to the younger wine drinkers. I can see showing up at a party with a hip bottle of wine like that would get some attention.

Did you know ising glass is uced for filtering wine http://veganconnection.co...vegan.html [Edited 1/16/07 10:30am] good thing i'm not vegan i guess. though i find it hard to believe that most of the small/midsized wineries are using blood and fish eyes and bones and stuff to process their product.

I'm just trying to figure out how all that "stuff" clarifies wine, but I'm assuming the wine is just passed through it and doesn't contain it, so guess I can live with that...

ya know, i think if you believe in the butterfly effect, even the most eco-animal-karma-friendly products come from a place of death and slaughter.
