Here's a quicky recipe... 2-4 Salmon fillets 1/2 cup white wine 1/2 cup water A few thin slices of yellow onion A sprinkle of dill Put wine, water, dill, and onions in a saute pan, and bring to a simmer on medium heat. Place salmon fillets, skin-side down on the pan. Cover. Cook 5 minutes or to desired done-ness. Do not overcook. Serves 2-4.  Sounds good now i have to call some chick to cook it for me 23 more days to Ball Dangle Day!!!!! | |

Well...you could have eaten at my place:
Borek with meat filling..... ground beef, onion, chile,(roasted; 1 jalepno 1 poblano) tomatoe, pine nuts, dill, parsley, layered between buttered fillo dough and baked until browned. Typical middle eastern side dishes. Rice pilav, eggplant salad, pita bread, yogurt and cucumber salad, ground chick peas with tahini, artichokes dipped in butter. Wanted to attempt the 3121 chocolate souffle but didn't have enough eggs (8) and didn't want to run out to get them. I know I'm leaving something out....Oh! feta, olive, spinach salad... stuffed grape leaves. [Edited 1/15/07 19:40pm] | |
