it's good stuff - i've watched it three times already!

I actually saw John--and met him--on that speaking tour. He's just the most charming man you've ever met. I just wanted to hug him. I was the first to ask him a question and I prefaced my question by getting slightly choked up and telling him "I know I speak for everyone here: Thank you for so many wonderful films."

I asked him if "A Date With John Waters" would ever be released and if "Mondo Trasho" would ever see a DVD release. He said no on the latter due to all of the music licensing issues with the soundtrack. I guess this means that my VHS will be worth some big bucks.

And I have a promo copy of the "Date With John Waters" CD...it's simple adorable.

And I've already pre-ordered a copy of the CD for a special lady as a Valentine's Day present wink wink wink...

i'm very excited about 'date with john waters' - i'm loving the cover.

i met him a couple of times at book signings - both times he was very friendly and chatty. very genuinely nice guy. nod
