Are you kidding? I'd say twenty minutes is enough. It's big and worth seeing, but it's still just a waterfall. And the city is nothing special. shrug

It's definitely enough, just make sure you go to the Canadian side. The American side is cool, and it's less touristy/more natural, but you don't get the view that you need to get.

But spending the whole day there is enough time to take the boat, eat a meal, go down inthe tunnels (I've done this, it's pretty cool, you actually go behind the falls), or whatever.

And as Retina said, it's not like the town is anything special.

mad mad boo
The city isn't special because the corrupt politicians have ruined it, now that the Seneca nation owns a large piece of the city, things are looking better.

Hahahaha It IS my backyard. biggrin

Yeah Sweetie, you can do all the touristy things in 13 hours. If the weather stays mild they might even have the Maid of the Mist boats in the water by then. You can buy inexpensive all day passes to the things like the tunnels and
you can walk over the Rainbow Bridge to Canada and back again no problem,
Let us know when you're coming through, we would love to see you. Megs should be here but I don't know about Pat and the guys because they're already starting this year's tours.

:woot; You bet we would excited We would all love to meet up with you. And it's a great time of year to see the Falls, weather should be pretty good and the busy tourist season won't have started yet. Meg said she will probably be here, she'll be going on some of this year's Canadian and American tours with Pat but they don't know their schedule that far in advance because the new album is coming out soon. With any luck, they'll all be somewhere between here and Toronto and we can all get together. We really want to meet you too !!!! hug

Cool! As touristy as Niagra is, it was one of the most amazing sights I've seen. It's hard to believe when you see it in person.

I can only imagine what it looks like naturally--they let less than half the water flow over the falls!
