I cannot caution people enough to not mess with Ouija boards.

They're not toys, but they're portals through which evil spirits have been known to possess and oppress human beings.

When someone becomes reconciled to God through Jesus Christ, they receive His Holy Spirit as an indwelling seal of God's salvation. The name of Jesus Christ, His holy word (the Bible) and His redeeming blood have been time-proven tools against spirits of darkness.

But someone who isn't a Christian and who dabbles in the occult -- whether through a Ouija board or some other practice -- is really setting themselves up for torment from evil. It's like lying down in front of an oncoming train while asking if you're in danger.

Don't mess with Ouija boards.

Please.

falloff falloff falloff falloff falloff falloff falloff falloff falloff falloff falloff

Hang on, let me wipe the tears out of my eyes.

They're so dangerous they sell them in toy shops. nod

I just cannot fathom how anyone can believe that a piece of cardboard with numbers and letters on it is dangerous.

They shouldn't be sold in toy stores.

That just shows how fucked up the country is.

Ban prayer in schools, and then sell shit that is used to conjure up spirits (the devils) in toy stores. confused

It's no one. And if it's anyone, it's someone dead - not the devil. If the Devil's real he's busy organising the nightmare to run that is hell; making sure everyone's got their punishment, etc - Hell needs to run efficiently too! There's also no such thing as Demons in the Bible, so scratch them too.

No; if it's anyone the purpose of it is to contact spirits in Limbo; so it would be neither - it'd be someone transitioning. But they're all nonsense. You wanna get in touch with spirits? Sleep in a tomb and listen to the silence. smile

Jesus himself stated in his gospel that he is not in the church, he is "under the stone and in the tree" - i.e. God is everywhere; much more than an entity. Making God seem human was a big mistake. However, the Romans disagreed with Jesus and burnt 26 of the gospels out there to make him seem more Divine. Soooo, long story short if the Devil's real he's Jesus' opposite and so is also everywhere, and you're right. However, focusing on worldly things isn't evil if the cause is right - it's all relative to your actions and moral code.

Well, they're sold in toy stores (or shops as we call them) in my country too, but they still haven't banned prayer in schools. Now that's fucked up.

I really don't think ouija boards have a great deal to do with the fucked up-ness of your country. What probably does have more do to with it is the (seemingly widespread) erroneous belief that a ouija board is anything other than an overpriced piece of cardboard with numbers and letters on it, but I'm getting tired of saying it.

Why not try one yourself, if you have enough faith God will protect you, right ? Let us know how you get on. If you need any dead relatives to get in contact with I can give you the names of some of mine.

They are hilarious and a lot of fun because everyone is all (stupidly) jumpy and nervous just to try it.

As long as one of you sneaks moves on the board, it will be fun. If not, you'll just sit there and be bored out of your mind.

I think you'll find most Christians don't play with Ouija boards. There's risk for all people who do, born again or not.

Christians (those reconciled by Christ unto God through their belief in His atoning sacrifice and resurrection) are declared righteous because God sees Christ's blood covering them. As such, we are protected and declared off-limits to evil. Evil spirits still attempt to hinder or afflict Christians, but rebuking them the same way Christ did with the devil during His temptation in the wilderness (with the Bible) works.

There are ways to reverse the demonic oppression or possession. The Christian aspect comes into play in that reminding a spirit of its trespassing (with regard to a Christian life) can only be done if that person has left the dominion of darkness by accepting Christ as their Savior.

The distinction I was raising had to do with the spiritual position or status of a believer versus a non-believer. Christian, off limits; non-Christian, fair game.

What I wouldn't give to take away your right to vote. lol

Bottomline, leave the "game" alone.

I think what's interesting is that some people have had EXPERINCES with the "game". Not everyone is speaking from what they've heard.

Personally, I'm not inviting Satan to come anywhere, anytime, to do anything.

nothing fun about that.

I agree with you there.

I don't really know the history of the bible, only the bible itself.

But it seems like you've been researching different faiths and stuff so thats really cool.

I don't know what you believe in, buit atleast you are in the know. Thats a lot better than people who choose not to believe 'just because thats easier' for them to do.

I think it depends on your religion. Me being a good Catholic girl i would never mess with anything like that. I have heard of old people, before they die..turning really nasty, their face contorting and using language they would never use etc, and a priest is called to take the devil out before they die..as the devil tries to take their soul. It may sound very like the Exorcist movie..but i believe this things can happen.
