In the corporate world, it's a well known fact that Quality Initiatives such as Six Sigma and TQM were started by a Ouija board.

About twenty years ago a friend of mine called me and asked if I would come over to her house because she wanted to try and contact her deceased grandmother thru an Ouijz Board. I'm not sure but I think she didn't feel comfortable asking anyone else to help her. I guess I've sort of been the type of person that you could do,say or ask me something "unusual" and I'm OK with it. I had my doubts that anything would come of it,but I said I would help her. We tried working with the board for about an hour but nothing happened. My mom didn't want me to mess around with it to begin with. I don't own one, never have and don't care to.

Yes, they do. If catholics don't pray to Mary, then what the fuck is this : Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of death. And if they don't pray to saints, then what the fuck is this : O glorious advocate and protector, St Valentine, look with pity upon our wants, hear our requests, attend to our prayers, relieve by your intercession the miseries under which we labour, and obtain for us the divine blessing, that we may be found worthy to join you in praising the Almighty for all eternity: through the merits of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. FunkMistress said: They ask Mary and the saints to pray ("intercede") for them to Jesus Christ.
You're half right, when they pray to Mary or the saints, they are generally asking for their intercession. Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.

Catholic bashing is far more fun than trying to convince people that there's no logic to believing a piece of cardboard is somehow dangerous. SureThing said: Protestants Rule.
