I went through a time like this and probably looked like I was "lost", but it I actually planned to take some time figure out what the hell I was doing. I kept picking woman that were emotionally a wreck or needy. My job was decentralized and I was drifting.
A year and a half later, I was ready to start dating and for awhile discussing my situation with woman was not popular. No matter how much I felt like I had matured and learned. It does happen.

Now,if I met a woman that was that part of her life I'd walk. Too much drama
