It's a friends' birthday thingy and they decided to hang at the german restaurant/bar/place/whatever over in nordest Minneapolis. We will be drinking beer out of big glass boots, offered this weird snuff to sniff and there will be polka dancing.
What's even weirder is the couple who's birthdays we're celebrating (both are within a couple of days) are crazy little glam/goth kinda folks and this is sooooo not their scene.

So anyone up for a polka?

So, in case anyone's interested, I've decided on black jeans, black boots and black cashmere scoop-necked sweater. I haven't left the house this casual at night in a long time. But that's what we do in the winter here, I guess. Perhaps I'll camp it up with some big bracelets or something.
