Is it better to wear ones heart on ones sleeve?

Or to keep your true feelings hidden?

I won't begin to say what others should do

for me

somethimes I do both ... mostly I keep my feeling to myself, not so much as in hiding them from others though

Well there is less chance in getting hurt that way.. some take advantage of those who are openly honest about their feelings..

I tend too.

It's not your fault if ya wear your heart on your sleeve and someone hurts you.

It make them the jerk, not you.

I have no idea how to hide my feelings. They are just there out in the open for anyone to see, and yes at times, fuck majorly with. It's just who I am. I don't worry about being anyother way. though at times I wish I could keep somethings to myself.
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

I think I'm the opposite in that I can be a bit too guarded. And when I find myself letting go a bit I feel silly or get embarrassed. And I suppose there's no reason for that. I certainly don't judge others for it.

I totally understand.
And Im not saying what others should do but for me I wear my heart on my sleeve.I've been hurt plenty of times relationship wise, by friends, and by family. But I could never close myself or hide my feelings because of that. I guess its easier for some than others.

I have tried to be more guarded but I feel unnatural and its all pretend, like a game.. cos its just me and who I am that I am open with my feelings and emotions..

Yeah most people I know can hide what they really feel very well.

I just can't. My boyfriend is worse than hiding his feelings then I am though. He suffers no fool lightly. So I guess the opposites thing doesn't really apply to me in that sense.

I was the type who would not show my feelings for anyone. I was so nonchalant about everything cuz I was afraid of getting hurt. I dont know what hit me but I was like screw this,so what if I get hurt. And then yeah, I did time and time again but hey.. u learn from it.

No, not people who use others for sex.. I think some just get a kick out of seeing how far your feelings will go.. then they go in for the kill and hurt you

But on the positive side, there are no games.. and others know exactly how you feel about them.. life is too short to make things more complicated by hiding those feelings from others IMO lips

I guess its because deep down inside they are really miserable and u know how when some are miserable others have to be miserable along with them mad so they do that to give them pleasure.
