There was a time Nye's was really quite popular with the hipster crowd. I always wanted to go when the lady was doing the piano karaoke, but somehow never made it. Frat boys can either make a night exciting  or really dull. Sounds like yours was the latter. Bummer. Polka + Beer = traditional MN winter fun. I woulda felt sorry for that old guy, too. It's sort of poetic in a drunk old man sort of way. | |

I really did like watching the old couples dancing and such. They are simply adorable.
