They always break dead easily too.. the quality is shit.. totally. some of the designs are ok, but they are poorly constructed and WAY overpriced. a psychotic is someone who just figured out what's going on

Ex-Moderator | I always look at expensive shoes, but I never buy them.
Same with bags. I'd rather have 3 pairs of inexpensive cute shoes than 1 pair of Jimmy Choos. Or at least that's what I keep telling myself. |

Mens shoe styles are pretty classic, aside from the occasional fashion forward design. So, it makes sense to spend money on shoes that, if cared for, will last decades. Womens styles seem to come and go with the fashion and, perhaps, it is more attractive to pay less for shoes, knowing they won't be worn as long.(?) I don't really know what I am talking about, but this reasoning makes me feel better about spending a lot of money on shoes. a psychotic is someone who just figured out what's going on

The key to buying expensive shoes is to not buy really trendy styles.

That sounds nice and all, but a good shoe design is always classic, ladies or not. And if it's truly trendy I still have fun with mixing up styles now and again. I wore some of my early 90's platforms this week and though my coworker laughed at me, I thought it was fun. What I've found is it pays to simply have a LOT of shoes cause if you wear different shoes every day you're already reducing the wear and tear on them. |
