YUCK!

Just the other day I was driving home down Lyndale in the middle of the afternoon and I drove right by a guy hanging out of a passenger side window with sick spewing out, all down the side of the car.

It was sooooo yucky.

I only ever really see those birds in the winter around here. I thought they were like bluejays and chickadees and do not migrate.

They are simply gorgeous.

Cardinals are normal in wintertime in MN and all over the midwest actually. nod They don't fly south usually.

There are usually 4 or 5 breeding pairs in my parents' backyard in St. Paul that live there year round. In fact, winter is the best time to spot them because of the contrast between the snow and their colors.
