Which part are you rolling your eyes at? I know Stallone wasn't that good to start with, but considering the amount of training he had and the short space of time to get used to the position I thought he was pretty good. smile

You might like Stallone's movie. I for one have not seen a film with him appearing since the 1980's.

I don't really watch movies. Not that one. Movies are too much on my attention span. What movie was it again?

lol I can't remember. I'm the same. When it comes to music I remember everything after one listen. With movies I might have seen it before a couple of times but not be sure if I have or be able to tell the plot when someone asks me.

We should yahoo chat sometime. I've been trying to go on msn more often though as my father only uses that. I'm going to try to stay in touch with people more in 2007. I'm starting by deleting my myspace account soon. smile

I once had a job for about a month where I worked from three to eleven in the evening. I hated it! stab

It felt like I stood up out of bed, went to work and went home to bed. I didn't have a social life except for in the weekends. mad

Man, to think that I actually worked hours like that... I can understand why you're looking for another job. One needs to have the evenings off. biggrin

Well, keep your fingers crossed on monday, around four. I will be on a job interview then. For an office job, 9 to 5. With a more than generous payrise. If all goes well.

The thing to always remember in the old soccer vs football debate is that soccer players are way hotter than football players.

Therefore, soccer is better.

Look its simple if you are a girl Erin's argument is beyond reproach if you are a sports fan the it's simple too.

Football is divine and requires all elements of fitness and skill to play. The Americans couldn't play it and be the best in the world at it so they bastardised another skilfull game (rugby), dumbed it down and made it last 4 fucking hours so that the people watching it had time for 58 (weak) beers and 9 million dougnuts or nachos during it. This way they can fool themselves that at this sport (that pretty much no other nation plays) they are world beaters.

The day the U.S.A. wins the world cup (yanno the FIFA one...big gold thing!) then we can continue the debate.

Don't even get me started on race circuits!!!!!

boxed

Phil waits for the onslaught.

Having said that i did have a great steak and a superb claret at a really nice restaurant in Florida last night so they do some things well. Steak at least.

I used to run 7 miles (yes, consecutively). That's not the mark of an elite athlete per se.

I never said footys were slow. But ballers that play the speed and skill positions are often twice as big, and run just as fast.

Agreed.
If running were the only criteria, then I guess Kenyans are the best athletes in the world.
