You guys are making me hungry. Indian is like my top 3 or top 2 favorite cuisines.

I just had a craving the other day and picked up some spiced okra with tomato, pullau rice and poori. OMG, it was so good.

My favorite drink is mango lassi. drool3

No, you simply have to learn how to make it yourself. Nothing is better than homemade indian cuisine.

I love Indian food. I don't know all the official names of the dishes since I mostly go to the all you can eat buffet. I like the Chicken 65, Butter Chicken, there's a delicious dish that has chili and chicken done up Indian style with the curry and all the spices. They use curry in everything. Also lots of cilantro. Even the vegetable dishes are great. There was one that was made with string beans but it was spicy and had that great Indian flavor.

If you can't handle spicy food though, you better leave it alone. I love spicy food and it doesn't get hot enough for me. I pay for it when I go to the restroom though. It'll make you shit fire. lol

Husband took me to an Indian restaurant in New York City. Ordered everything extra hot. I thought he was trying to kill me.

See, I don't mind a little heat, but if you're somebody who doesn't like that, Indian food doesn't need it. The non-firey seasonings are plenty interesting on their own.

New Delhi is next to Market BBQ (barf) and Bombay is downtown on (I think) Marquette. I think New Delhi is like $8 or something purty cheap like that.

falloff Oh the drunken afterhours spent there. lol

I've heard of the cuisine but haven't tried it. Would like to experience it though, traditionally, such as in front of an open fire next to a cozy wigwam.

Yup yup!! IT's weird though cause the kind of Indian food i love is more from the south of India rather than Bengal- where my family came from where meat dominates (cause they're Anglo Indian) but in the south they have wonderful vegetarian dishes...actually most of their cuisine is very much vegetarian i guess. Everyone- you must try Masala Dosa drooling with some Lassi drooling thumbs up!

Fish is the staple over meat in Bengal geek
