Indian Food-Do You Like It? Today two of my friends took me to an Indian restaurant. I believe they specialize in Mughlai recipies. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to handle all of the spices in the foods since I have a digestive problem(GERD).
I tried a little bit of everything and most of it was quite spicy for me. Some of the foods I ate were: Tandoori Chicken, eggplant,Indian chick peas, flat bread, fried vetables, some triangular shaped pastry with vegtables inside and the dessert was some sort of round shaped dough in a yellow sauce that tasted similar to lemon. I really enjoyed the Tandoori chicken, flat bread, fried vegetables, and the dessert was unusual but flavorfull. It's been about three hours since I ate lunch and I can actually smell the food/spices that have come thru the pores of my skin onto my shirt. The skin on my stomach is also a bit itchy and I'm wondering if I am having some sort of allergic reaction to the foods? Well it was an interesting experience to say the least. So have you tried Indian food and do you like it? [Edited 1/10/07 14:56pm]

I've never met a food I didn't like News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

I love it, but I'm finding it's sometimes too spicy & rich--not for my taste but for my insides. It's very acidic. My Legacy

New Delhi is next to Market BBQ () and Bombay is downtown on (I think) Marquette. I think New Delhi is like $8 or something purty cheap like that.

I'm Indian, and I get cravings for Indian food that are just UNBEARABLE sometimes! I loves samosas, pakoras, any kind of curry, and garlic naan. I also love dipping poppadums in mint chutney. Tandoori chicken is another fave, sprinkled with fresh lemon juice. Heck, I like it all

Does anyone actually cook Indian food and have good recipes? As much as I love to go out for food, I prefer cooking at home.

Yup yup!! IT's weird though cause the kind of Indian food i love is more from the south of India rather than Bengal- where my family came from where meat dominates (cause they're Anglo Indian) but in the south they have wonderful vegetarian dishes...actually most of their cuisine is very much vegetarian i guess. Everyone- you must try Masala Dosa with some Lassi No hablo espanol,no!
Pero hablo ingles..ssii muy muy bien... "Come into my world..." Missy Quote of da Month: "yeah, sure, that's cool...wait WHAT?! "
