Vain bastard that I am, I can't decide between the white macook or the black macbook. I'll be getting the highest spec possible, so it's just a question of colour: Matte black or glossy white?

Someone make this decision for me. Please. My head is starting to hurt.

Black is beautiful. Get the black one!

black's nice but scratches very easily if you're not careful
and i believe its about 100$ more to get it in black
i have the white, my friend has the black, hers looks pretty beaten up as of late (we got them in june) and her trackpad looks gross too...

but then, it's all in the upkeep
i like classic white.

the white is slightly transluscent (the one i have and others ive seen were all like that out of the box, it's the material used) but it's a minor detail, @least it doesn't scratch as easily, and when it's not in use i always have it in a sleeve

ahh it's not for the material, it's different specs.. nonetheless, it is more without an upgrade, i unno, that's how they sold it in the store too

Not long...but now that I think about it, she said it was because of the light over her desk, it's really huge and really bright and pretty much like a heat lamp so her computer would get really hot and cool off a lot so that probably did it. I guess it was a bizzare case, and not something to expect if you're using it under normal circumstances.
