REDFEATHERS

I hate working alone!

In my lil cold room, with no friendly voices around me, gossip, the smell of fresh coffee or cakes, overhearing peoples jokes, simulating sex positions on each others desks..

cry

Anyone here work on their own??? Do you like it?

The majority of my day is spent at a desk that is isolated from most everyone here. I love it.
But I like the interaction too sometimes. A happy medium, maybe leaning more towards the alone side, is what I like best.

I'm alone 95% of my shift...I like it, gives me a chance to think, because my non work time is generally noisy and hectic.
Everything old is new again...

I heart graveyards....I have all day to do fun stuff (since I don't sleep)...I see more of my friends, if anything (though I haven't worked days in a half a decade, so my memory may be a touch fuzzy)

i can't do graveyard shifts. shake i tried for one summer, and it was bad.

i looked like a junkie after a couple months of it, and not in a sexy way.

second shift is good. work the evening, then have the option of going right to sleep or staying out late and sleeping in. get all day to do my stuff, then go in to work for the night after all the 9-to-5ers have left. thumbs up!

the biggest negative to the schedule is that if i want to see a concert during the week, i have to take a vacation day, which seems kinda unfair. mad
