How many of you are quitting smoking for the new year? I'm on my 4th day and it hasn't been bad at all. I've quit numerous times before so I know the deal...and now I'm sick so it's even easier

I have been eating more, but I've also been exercising like a frekazoid so I'm blaming it on that...if I get fat I will kill.

Anyway I'm bored. Carry on.

It's only been 4 days. I imagine when I'm tipsy I will cheat here and there...but I was up to a pack a day and I've NEVER smoked that much in all my life. Everyone I work with at the bar smokes, it's hard not to. I'm determined though!!!

As for the weight-gain thing, you have to be strict w/yourself in the beginning and not replace the smokes w/food.

i've been told it's hard, but i really don't feel sorry for getting mad whenever he slips.

I've now gone 21 days without smoking. Keep it up I've not had a single craving. Xmas is the best time to give up because you eat more anyways so you don't notice.
