You forget that they're American. You have to run the tomatoes in a blender, add sugar and pour it into a Heinz bottle for them to like it. rolleyes

But you eventually turned to the dark side, didn't you? The US is the only country where ketchup is as common as salt and pepper in the restaurants. lol

I like it too though, I admit that. But only on hot dogs, burgers or occasionally on pasta.

Actually Salsa surpassed Ketchup in the USA years ago. Americans love tomatoes. They get them fresh from Canada.

I'm not comparing the Americans' love for ketchup to the Americans' love for salsa, I'm comparing the Americans' love for ketchup to everybody else's love for ketchup - and that's where you have a huge gap! lol

Like I said though, it's okay. I'm a fan of tomatoes in all shapes and forms. thumbs up!

Hell yes, and in sandwiches too. A thin layer of mayo and likewise for mustard, but I can live without the mayo.

2. i LOVE tomatoes. on everything, in everything, alone. i could pick up a tomato and eat it like an apple. nod some people here slice it and sprinkle salt on them, i usually slice it and sprinkle a little sugar on top. shrug i've been told it's a california thing.

3. i love mustard too. especially on eggs.

4. you do realize i'm going to ask for your help/opinion when i finally get around to buying myself a camera, right? lol

5. it's really good to see you around every once in a while. hug

As a defense mechanism, puffer fish have the ability to inflate rapidly, filling their extremely elastic stomachs with water (or air when outside the water) until they are almost spherical in shape. Thus, a hungry predator stalking the puffer fish may suddenly find itself facing what seems to be a much larger fish and pause, giving the puffer fish an opportunity to retreat to safety.
