I hate to agree with Lord Evil, but these contestants aren't supposed to be wholesome, not like Miss America. they're just supposed to be pretty. And the most talented & successful Miss America wasn't that wholesome, anyway.

BREAKING: Trump's Open Letter To Rosie!
NEW YORK (January 9, 2007) -- Donald Trump has sort of reached out an olive branch to "The View" moderator Rosie O'Donnell -- in the form of Barbara Walters' head.

Access Hollywood has obtained a copy of his latest comments to Rosie – a letter he faxed to her at "The View," this morning.

"Dear Rosie," the Donald writes, "I hope you are having a wonderful vacation with your wife – you needed the rest."

Quickly, Trump's letter turns to address the New York Post story which claimed Rosie engaged in a verbal attack on Barbara Walters and branded her a "liar" yesterday morning before "The View."

In fact, the Post alleged Rosie verbally sparred with Barbara for a number of things, including not defending her enough while she was on vacation and while Trump visited or phoned in several shows – including Access Hollywood to speak out against her. Trump claimed several times that Barbara told him she does not like Rosie.

Continuing his letter, Trump said he found one point to agree with Rosie on – Barbara Walters' veracity.

"Actually, I don't blame you," he writes. "In fact she lied to both of us! After your maniacal and foolish rant against me two weeks ago, Barbara called me from her vacation (I did not call her) in order to apologize for your behavior. She had heard that I was going to retaliate against you and tried to talk me out of it."

Trump continues saying Barbara attempted to coax him on the show to "patch things up" -- an offer he declined.

He also continued, alleging again, that Barbara told him in private she does not like Rosie or enjoy working with her.

"To be exact, she said that 'working with her is like living in hell' and, more pointedly, 'Donald never get into the mud with pigs' and, 'don't worry, she won't be here for long," his letter recounted. "Barbara knows exactly what she told me over the phone and she has to live with it. Perhaps that's why her initial statement was so mild!"

Donald ends his letter on a light note, supporting the Rosie's alleged verbal sparring with Barbara.

"In any event," he notes, "you have a good reason to be angry. Please give my warmest regards to Kelly!

Though it seemed like he was mending some fences, Trump, in true form, ended the letter by taking a dig at Rosie in his "P.S."

"I was surprised that you let your spat with Barbara get into the newspapers, but, as I have always said and as you proved with Rosie, the magazine, you are very self destructive," he adds. "You must work on this for your own good!"

so this was just sent up in the newswires...

seems BARBARA is too blame for this fued going on and on and on...

BABWA was visibly uncomfortable on yesterdays show...you could tell something went on. And during an interview with Jennifer Hudson they were discussing how mean Simon was to her on 'Idol' and Hudson said 'Well he thinks thats what the show needs..' then you could hear Babwa say 'Yes, some people do certain things cuz they think the show needs it'...and Rosie had a puzzled look on her face...these two are clearly at odds. I think Rosie feels stabbed in the back, unsupported.

ahahahaha! the only reason (I think) Rosie suddenly clammed up was cause Ms. Walters told her to shut her trap.
why is it only joking around when Rosie..out of nowhere insults donald trump but when he retaliates it's not joking. psh! yeah...I think donald took it a bit overboard but..hey he was attacked first. Rosie certainly NOT a nice person and that ain't no secret.
oh...and I thought the apprentice didn't start till sunday?

it's baba's show. I read that e-mail totally different than you. I see it as baba trying to smooth things over with donald, appologizing for Rosie's crap behavior and admitting in confidence that she did not like her. trying to coax a patch up but donald declined. Not sure how baba lied to Rosie? perhaps by not telling rosie to her face that she can't stand her? well, that could be considered lying...or it could just be trying to keep the peace in a bad situation. I dunno. but it's clearly donald who is out for blood now...hoping to rip that whole show appart, and putting rosie out of work. I don't think he was being sincere in that letter at all with regards to any of the nice words he said to her.
