To get it back on track... yes, I have found love. I guess I'm lucky, or just fall in love easily, or something. It was a very intense relationship that lasted 16 months, but because I loved him so much, I couldn't bring myself to end it when it should have. The absolute very first time I saw him, I said to myself we were going to get married. Thus, the motive for dating - until I realized that I really didn't want to be tied down. I also realized that, towards the end, it was more of a case of "loving" him than "being in love" with him.

I'm currently occasionally seeing another guy who absolutely breaks my heart. Battier can testify to that, heh. I've known him for a few years, and we were sort of dating a year and a half ago. When it abruptly ended, I was crushed. Six months later he ran off to a brief stint in the army. Now he's back. There is no doubt in my mind that I love him. I doubt he feels the same, or as strongly as I do. I lose sleep, appetite, and my mind over him. When I return back to school in two weeks it'll probably be over again, though who knows how temporary it might be. He has a knack of weaving in and out of my life at the most inopportune times.

I sincerely apologize for my comment regarding Marla. I seemed to have messed up gooey's thread because I didn't go in depth with my love for her. Marla was my first love and I only loved her for 30 minutes. There is nothing more to tell.

Ah man! My first love. I was 17 and what brought us together was our love for Prince music. This was back in 90 we worked at the same place. I got her on the rebound though. I was young and didnt know to much about love so for me it was the real deal. Her ex kept trying to break us up and at times she wanted to give up and go back to him. She had a baby by him. I was such a sucker. After struggling for a about a year she went back with him. A year later after that she looked me up and we hooked up again. Still had the same problem with the ex and after a about a month we stopped seeing each other. 3 years later she looked me up again. Oh by the way she had another kid with the ex. Anyways 3 years later we hooked up again. This time she had another ex that hit her. We had a great time this time around we were both over 21 by then and we went to clubs, danced, drank and made love. It was a short affair cuz one day i just couldnt find her. Just before that we talked about how we really couldnt be together ever because of all the drama. I agreed but i didnt expect her to just disappear. So i havent heard from her since. I ran into her sister and she told me that she was married and moved to germany. I guess she had to leave the country to get away from me. yeah right! I was just another sucker!Your right.
