Problem is, Andrea, I haven't been on skates since I broke my back.

I guess it is time to get back out there and try. It scares the hell outta me though!

Yeah, I broke the bottom three vertabrae in my back skating. I think I was 12 or so. Haven't laced up since and that was my life since about age 3! I could rock those freakin' skates! Flips, shimmies, everything! Of course, 'tis not so cool nowadays! smile

I could booty-shake iffin' I wasn't so fearful of putting those eight wheels on the rink!

I may try on MLK day. Know, though, I'll shake like a tree.. and that's no shimmy!

My clock radios -- yes, I use two and my cell phone -- are both set to National Public Radio.

Yes, I also like to watch C-SPANs 1 and 2.

Yes, I know I'm a nerd.

You're just a newsie... pat I had to do it too when I was a full-time reporter. smile

hug Thanks, sis. But, I flip to C-SPAN, sometimes, when my g/f is over and we're scanning the channels.

And, well, I stay there...
