my grandma is german  could be where I got the recipeit's funny, because I know some Ame-s are on the thread are saying 'hey that's not a cake' with that same look my European friends give me when I bake them bananna 'bread'-they're always like, 'umm, wheres the bread??? o, this is a cake!'
