If this is true..this is so cool!! Sherri has been such a fun guest host in the last few weeks and she really blends in well with the other gals. Esp. she and Rosie when they go on about big girls and food and stuff. THE VIEW is so much fun to watch these days and Sherri is just going to add to the laughs! 3 comics on the panel (Ro, Joy and Sherri) may be a bit much to take at times but the show is not the borefest it once was!!!!!

So much for The View hopeful Lola Ogunnaike — looks like the "black lady slot" on Barbara Walters' morning estrogen-fest has been filled by Sherri Shepherd. First rumormongered on Canada.com and (nearly) confirmed on Ellegedly.com, ABC is said to be finishing up a deal with Shepherd, who white people might know from Beauty Shop and BET's Comic View. The past few days have been her test run to replace Star Jones' empty seat.

Rumor is they are going to work the angle of Shepherd's sudden divorce... her ex hubby Jeff was a cheating, all while their newborn baby was in the neonatal intensive care.... Well, Shepherd threw him to the curb...
Even more exciting: While Rosie O'Donnell may be blogging, Shepherd is already on MySpace — and has just 2660 friends. Shame, we know. So add her to your Top 8, and show Rosie O'Donnell which big girl has your vote.

I had no idea people actually watched that show.

i freaking LOVE the show and Sherri! she is a comedic genius. when you can slaughter rosie and joy, two very accomplished comics, who then just sit back and listen to her... that's a brilliant comedienne.

and she brings so much to the show.

She was pretty good on that Moonlighting show, I guess.

i just bought her dvd from her website. i cant wait for it to get here!

her bit about going to jail was the hardest i have laughed at anything on tv in a looooong time.

especailly when rosie added to it by talking about having visited martha stewart in prison...

Sherri was in town a while back filming a movie.....but I wasn't able to go and be an extra. I didn't really have an interest in the movie to be honest.
