all bad decisions in my life have led to lessons learned that have led to good decisions. so really, there are no bad decisions, only backwards investments. that sounds like new age bullshit, but it happens to work out to be true in my life. shrug

So far the best decision i've made is to change where I practice.
the worst decision i ever made was to be unfaithful to my wife.

Bad call: Trusting those who don't deserve it and giving creedance to their shitty behavior.

Good call: Doing my best to remember it doesn't matter what they think.

ok, fine:

Bad calls:

1. Cleaning a sick person's apartment without any kind of gloves or respirator, and getting miserably sick myself for two months as a result.

HOWEVER, I lost 35 pounds during that sickness, and when I got better, I maintained a diet and a gym routine that resulted in my keeping 25 of that 35 pounds off for good. As a result, I look good and I feel great, and let's not forget I got sick from doing a good deed. So even though I didn't take the proper precautions, was it such a bad call?

Blah.

Good Decisions:

Lets see, first of all, I think that all the really good decisions I've ever made, have only come to me, AFTER praying on them.

Staying home to raise my kids, instead of going back to work and putting them in a daycare.

Quitting a high paying job that I had, because I felt more like a call girl, than an employee.

Quit drinking (so much) and smoking.

Going back to school for massage.

Bad Decisions:

Dropping out of college.

Letting my mom be in charge of my Dads medical decisions when he was sick, instead of going with my gutt and fighting for POA.

Letting drugs rule my life in the late 90's and early 2000's.

Hammer Pants.

The best decision I ever made was to get help.

The worst decision I've ever made? To start smoking. Cigarettes are the one really toxic habit i haven't managed to break yet.

I think a good decision I made was moving 2 California. The bad decision was 2 do it with no money, no job, no place 2 stay, just kinda throwing everything I own in2 my car (which I also didn't own) and going. Oh well, I was 22 and foolish then.

This kinda reminds me of the Animainiacs:

Good Idea/ Bad Idea:

Whoo, boy.

I pretty much feel like Anx on this. I've learned from my mistakes. Mostly, I have good judgement.

I regret the way I treated my husband at times. He wasn't good about expressing his feelings, and there was a period of time where I kind of decided that it was his problem, and I wasn't going to go digging for them. It was self-serving. But he experienced a lot of growth and I think he likes himself better now, so. . . shrug
oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!
