What are you reading right now?

For my fellow book nerds... recommend me some stuff. Novels, non fiction whatever you want.

My reading list is kind of thin right now, but I fell in love with Bonfire Of The Vanities all over again, enjoyed College Girls by Lynn Peril (though it was a bit too full of statistics for its own good) and was throughly under- whelmed by The Colorist by Susan Daitch.

What's on your bookshelf?

i'm reading 'broom of the system', which is a lot more digestable to me than 'infinite jest', and quite witty too. there's a character in the book named "judith prietht". that's brilliant, even if i AM easily impressed.

After having seen Casino Royale, I recently read Ian Fleming's book again. It was fun to read with the movie in mind. biggrin

I just laughed reading that, so apparently I'm just as easily impressed. That is quite clever.

I'm about halfway through, just in the middle of the Bossk story. Bossk used to be one of my favorite bounty hunters until I read his backstory in The Bounty Hunter Wars. He's an idiot. confused

I could say the reverse about Dengar. I thought he was a poor excuse of a character until I read the stuff on him. smile

I couldn't quite do Infinite Jest, particularaly since my sister warned me "if you're looking for everything to be neatly wrapped up you're in for a disappointment!"

But he's a talented writer, no doubt.

But an old version that was written in the early 70s, so it's really dated. lol
