are you good at keeping in contact with your friends and family?


I'm terrible and have made a few people upset with me over the course of time I've been in London because of it

Nope; I lost a lot of friends when changing school.

I selectively keep in touch with family.

I know what you mean... it's horrible when you've got a really bad line or something and you're trying desperately to hear what the other person's saying and keep up but you end up feeling it's it's half a conversation. my StepDad and StepMum will put me on speakerphone so they can both talk to me, but the thing is I have to keep saying "sorry? Pardon?" lol and only kinda half hear them

It's more of an aversion; I hate the idea of just calling up a friend I haven't spoken to for 4 years and saying like "hey how are you? let's catch up!" - it could be way to awkward! at my age, you change a lot in these years and you could be totally different people...I'd much rather meet them in person. but then you have the paradox of having to call to arrange to meet.

I love my cell phone. I text message my mother every day.

I am good at keeping in touch with my friends, but then I only have five so it's not that hard a thing to do.

I'm there when they need me. I do stay in touch with all the people who matter to me but I'm not so good with peripheral friends.
