Do you practically live on my MySpace page or what? I really didn't think anyone would even notice any changes. lol

That Top Friends thing is becoming a bit of a headache actually. How does one rank one's friends? It will come out unfair no matter what you do. The last time I made a change I simply did it based on how often I've talked to the people on the list lately. But now I might go for alphabetical order or something just to be safe. confused

I just put manfriend and family first.

You should put me first because I've dreamt of sexy time with you.

eek I hope I performed well!

Okay, I've put you in my Top 3 now. rolleyes We'll see what that dream was about and then I might well make you number one. batting eyes razz

I've actually got some of my closest friends and family on MySpace... however many of them don't log on very often at all which means if anyone takes the top friends list too seriously they're bound to get offended

I say go for Alphabetical lol thumbs up!

I would, but since Rhonda inists on calling herself Zookeeper she'd be last and then I wouldn't hear the end of it. rolleyes

I'm horrible about keeping in touch now at one time I was really good about calling and keeping in touch with both family and friends but now I literally have to make myself pick up the phone and call people, I don't even answer the phone like talking about it anymore, I have to truly want to talk to the person for me to answer the phone now.

It's a lot of work 2 keep in touch with all of my friends over the years, but pretty much I work in teirs: Yearly Christmas Card, Bi-monthly e-mail, Occassional MySpace comment or message, weekly phone call and regular visit/hang out time. The people closest 2 me r usually always with me.

It's well worth the work.

so i tend to hang out with people who are the same, cause
other people get bored with me sooo quickly, lol.

i'm just not very clingy. just cuz i haven't called you in
over a month don't mean i love you any less. it just means
i'm reading a good book. lol.

I used to feel the same way. I was very good at entertaining myself. But about half a year ago that changed and suddenly I couldn't see enough of my lovely friends. biggrin

It's what my mum and brother say; they're virgos. and extrovert. smile

Well as far as I know virgos are mostly considered boring (which I am not lol), assiduous , neat and loyal.... Well I am chaotic and can be very lazy lol.

I'm a virgo, too. I've never hear virgos described as extroverts either. But I can be very lazy too, especially when it comes to cleaning. biggrin

I really just get in moods and don't feel like talking to anyone. I mean, aside from my kids and stuff. I have voicemails saved from my friends all pissed at me and shit cause I haven't returned their calls. lol

I am like that too--most of my 'close' friends know this about me and realize that me not returning their calls is not personal. It's hard with new acquaintences though b/c they don't know my m.o. I'm not really a phone person anyway and I have to use it a lot for my job so that's bad enough--I would much rather have a face to face conversation with someone.

In response to Natisse's original question--I used to be very good about keeping in touch---my friends would joke they could always count on a bday card from their parents and me, but since moving to NYC I have become less diligent. Partly because I'm busier with work and partly because I got sick of the non-reciprecation from "friends" whom I've known for years (I mean like 10+ years) who can't be bothered to respond to my emails or even remember to call (let alone send a card) on my birthday. rolleyes

I would say I'm ok at it. Having been in the Marines, it made me have to learn how to stay in contact with people and I can say that I do as good a job as possible to stay in contact with people in my life because of it. It's a little tougher for me to e-mail people because I prefer to use the phone but one way or another, I will do my part to stay in contact with friends/family.

are you good at keeping in contact with your friends and family? hmmm

I'm terrible and have made a few people upset with me over the course of time I've been in London because of it sad

I'm terrible at it too. Not enough time, not enough resources (computer only at work, not at home). I know several people think I'm not friends with them anymore and my pledge this year is to try and be better organized so I don't make my friends hate me lol

I must admit I am not so good, it's usually my friends who call redface

Same here, my friends call me and say, "How come I never hear from you?" I'm like, "Uhhh, probably because I hate talking on the phone!" lol My mom cracks me up because she'll call me on Monday or Tuesday and say, "I thought I would hear from you this weekend." Well, if there's nothing new to talk about, I generally won't call her. I would feel pretty silly sitting on the phone, not knowing what to say. dunce lol
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.
