valley or beyond the valley? i love valley of the dolls, but i don't think it's particularly weird...just uber-campy. BEYOND the valley of the dolls is a total tripfest, however. nod

I still have never seen this movie boxed Will I self destruct at 40 if I turn that age without ever seeing it? lol

Oh my God, you have to see it for the "faggot" line alone. How does it go ANX?

I love that one. And I hate Lucas for his recent CGI update of it.

the only cgi parts I hate are the creatures towards the end, both the bug, and the apeman.

I know, it's not very much, but it really does not the fit the mood of the movie. I think the car chase has been reworked as well.

Made me laugh though.
I hear that a sequel may be in the works.

I had a really hard time convincing people that it was just quirky enough to enjoy....my reward? I was indefinitely suspended from buying/renting movies for fam movie nite.... lol

A very good movie (the second or third time around...)...and you don't have to be a mathematical savant to enjoy it....

I don't mind the other cgi stuff, because if blends in okay, and expands some of the environment. The creatures were dumb though.

I love that movie. It's a perfect example of the kind of film I like the most - eccentric and bizarre without being show-offy about it.

shrug It made me laugh...I've seen it about 3 times as well. I've actually read most of the actual Satyricon...so I guess that adds to the amusement. Plus, I swear to god one of my friends is the spitting image of Hiram Keller.
