Name some weird ass films "Portrait of jennie" (1948-from what i could read off the roman numerals LOL) For such an old film, its odd in that it never explains if the girl is real or not. And this is in the day when all commercial Hollywood films told you exactly what and why it happened. Its a really cool little film. And the cover makes it look like some average love story. Check it out.

From a filmmakers perspective, its interesting in the way the lighting is used. Also the atmospheric dark blues and blacks date the film badly, but thats part of the charm. At least the title track is saved until the end credits.

My ex- husband made me watch that...I did not get it.. i LOVED that movie! it was all about instead of waiting/wanting to die, you should live life like you never have, and never will again! ...watched it in an art class, there's a lot of performance art in it so love that movie!!!

Anyone seen "rita sue and bob too"?
Its actually very realistic, but still a little odd as films dealing with (teenaged) underaged sex are usually very melodramitic about it. Iam pretty sure the girls are underaged anyway. Its very british.

I think MGM threw that in the vaults for decades. Heres an odd one Felix the cat: the movie Fish with breasts. Yes, only in this movie. Its a bit loopy and deranged.. As a kid, me and my brother and sister thought it wasn't odd at all LOL. Also, one of the main characters dissapears from the movie, never explained. One of the many problems with this odd but yet charming cartoon.

Weird-ass movie. Geriatric Elvis vs. vampire mummy. Made me laugh though. I hear that a sequel may be in the works. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!
