New Years Day... whatcha listening to?

Right now I´m listening to Yildiz Tilbe´s "Yürü Anca Gidersin" album ...lots of heavy oriental drums, lots of zurna ( some sort of Turkish clarinet ), lots of oud, darbouka and saz....and heavy, depressing lyrics about rejected love, KARASEVDA, bad friendships and relationships, etc.
She´s Kurdish-Turkish and she´s from Izmir. Her voice ain´t that great but she ´s a talented songwriter and musician. I´m also listening to the diva, Sezen Aksu, and some old funk stuff and Prince and Master Ace, one of my favorite rappers, and some old stuff by the SOS Band. But I´m mainly in the mood for some heavy drums tonight...and will be out real soon ( party etc.). " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?" | |

I like her so much cause she always gets into trouble for smoking way too much hash and weed and always ends up in front of cameras because she gets busted by the police cause her fucking neighbors call the police....that makes her a nice person in my book . I just got done listening to Hip Hop is Dead by Nas. Its his most solid album since Illmatic in my opinion. Right now I just popped in some Portishead. The song Dummy is the stuff! Carpenters bend wood, fletchers bend arrows, wise men fashion themselves.
