Ooh, good, explain this to me. I've seen this type of bird tattoo several times. Does it have some special significance? I always figured it must have a meaning that I don't know about.

There are a number of reasons, but mainly old sailors would get sparrow tatts after traveling 5000 nautical miles. They are known for traveling great distances and always returning home. When the old sailors would see sparrows, they knew they were getting close to land. It symbolizes a long journey, and a safe return.

I've traveled a lot since 2002, and I'm still alive and well.
