I could care less about new years, I'm gonna polish off the rest of these Sam Adams tonight and pass out alone.

Ex-Moderator | This year I'm breaking tradtion by staying in. I may stay home altogether as I spent yesterday getting sick all day from either something bad I ate, a stomach flu, too much drinking the night before or some combination of all of the above. I haven't eaten yet today. I'm scared to.
Or if I feel better later and find I can actually keep food down I may go to a friends. We'll see. I don't want to get anyone else sick. |

If you do that again next year, it'll be a tradition.

No traditions. I tend to let it be a quiet evening at home. I can see the Space Needle from my apartment, so I like to watch the fireworks. oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!

I'm staying in instead of terrorizing the world like I used to.
Drinking champagne and eatin' cheesecake.

I'm going to my friend's house in San Francisco with my best friend. He askes us to bring a suitcase or some kind of luggage that we travel with. At 12 we're supposed to carry our luggage outside and walk to the corner. This is his tradition. He says this will give us good luck and great travel opportunities in 2007.

U mean besides get FUCKED UP!? My mother gets a wakeup call every year no matter where I am and we say "Happy New Year!" She then tells me how long she was able to watch whatever program it was that put her to sleep, we laugh...I tell her I love her and that I am drunk....and we hang up....Then I call the next day and we laugh at each other some more. I'll find some damn black-eyed peas some damn where!!! The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who cannot read them. -- Mark Twain.

The cars are washed, tuned, and filled with fuel. Bills are paid, money in the bank. Money in our pockets. Family and friends within reach. Personal cleanliness..Ect... Yeah, you guys are getting snow--it's too warm here in Detroit, so we're getting heavy rain right now out of that same system. Good ol' global warming!

I'm sorry you're not feeling well, sugarplum. Thanks. I bought myself some sparkling cranberry juice since I thought I'd be in alone tonight sick. I can't get the damn thing open. So I decided I could try to go over to Darin's for just a little bit, if only to enjoy my cranberry juice. I walk out my door and hear sirens everywhere. I get to the front and there was some kind of fire or something in the apartment building across the street from me. There are 3 fire trucks and many squad cars. All blocking my street. Apparently I'm destined to be in home alone tonight. |

There is no way in hell I'm making it to midnight tonight.
My mom is in town and she's had me up since 6 am doing shit. I managed to sneak into the org earlier today, but the rest of the day I've been driving her around town so she could shop--a fate worse than death for me. I'm so exhausted right now I don't even know where to start. But I did guy a wonderful new pair of Kenneth Cole shoes (last season though ) out of the whole day! My ass will be in bed before 11
